Do I need to be on Odoo 20 to use AI?
No. Everything above runs on Odoo 19 today, and the OCR family supports Odoo 16–19. Odoo's next version is expected to be unveiled at Odoo Experience 2026 (Brussels, 24–26 September) and is anticipated to extend agentic features — but the readiness work is version-independent. Adopt AI now; the migration path forward is part of how we scope it.

Is my business data used to train external AI models?
We design for data governance. Inference runs against AI providers you choose and control (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or a custom endpoint), we document the data flow before go-live, and we favour providers whose terms exclude your prompts and documents from training. For sensitive workloads we scope self-hosted or private-endpoint options.
