Platform, 30 points
Odoo’s AI application, agents and prompt-based automation arrived with Odoo 19, and require Enterprise. On Community, or on Odoo 18 and earlier, most of it simply does not exist — so no amount of clean data changes the answer. Odoo 20, expected at Odoo Experience in late September 2026, is scored on the Odoo 19 feature set because that is what can be verified today.
Data quality, 40 points
The heaviest weighting, because this is where projects actually fail. Ownership, 20 points
Cleanup without an owner degrades back within months, which means paying for it twice. A named person and current process documentation are what make the improvement hold.
Volume fit, 10 points
The lightest weighting, because it changes the payback rather than the feasibility. Under a hundred documents a month, AI document processing rarely pays for itself — but that is an argument for picking a different use case, not for skipping AI.

How long does the Odoo AI readiness check take?
About three minutes. Twelve questions across four areas — your Odoo version and edition, your data quality, who owns data quality internally, and how much manual document volume you process. You see the score immediately; no email is required.

How is the score calculated?
Out of 100, across four weighted sections: platform eligibility 30 points (your version and edition decide which AI features exist at all), data quality 40, ownership and process 20, and volume fit 10. The weighting reflects that no amount of clean data helps if the platform cannot run the features, and no amount of platform helps if the data underneath is wrong.

Is a low score a problem?
It is useful information, not a verdict on your business. A low score usually means one of two fixable things: your Odoo version or edition cannot run the AI features yet, or your master data needs work before anything is built on it. Both are cheaper to fix before an AI project than during one.

Do you store my answers?
No. The score is calculated in your browser and your answers are held in your tab's session storage so a refresh does not lose them. Nothing is transmitted anywhere unless you choose to submit the optional report form at the end.

How accurate is a self-assessment?
It is directional. The data-quality questions ask what you believe is true, and a measured scan of the actual database usually finds more issues rather than fewer. Treat the score as a decision aid on whether to look properly, not as the measurement itself.

We are on Odoo Community. Can we still use this?
Yes, and it will tell you plainly that Odoo's built-in AI requires Enterprise, so none of the native features are available to you today. The useful question then becomes whether your volume justifies the licence change — which the volume section of the score speaks to directly.
