Overview
WhatsApp Sale in Discuss connects Odoo Sales to Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API, then surfaces every quotation and sales order for the current WhatsApp contact inside the Discuss conversation. Sales reps stop bouncing between modules to send a fresh quote or confirm an order.
Built by TechUltra Solutions, the module adds a Sales tab to the Discuss menu. From that tab reps see every quotation and SO linked to the contact on the other end of the chat, open one in place, edit lines and discounts, or create a new order — without losing the conversation context.
Outbound messages go through dynamic WhatsApp templates with text, media, and interactive content, and delivery and read ticks from Meta — single grey, double grey, double blue — are mirrored into each order's Odoo chatter so sales managers have a complete audit trail.

Setup & configuration
From install to first call — here is the path.

Install the module
In Odoo, open Apps, remove the Apps filter, search for “WhatsApp Sale in Discuss”, and click Install. The Odoo Meta WhatsApp Discuss and Odoo WhatsApp Base dependencies are pulled in automatically.

Connect Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API
In WhatsApp → Configuration, enter the WhatsApp Cloud API credentials from your Meta Business account — the phone-number ID and permanent access token — and run the connection test.

Sync sales templates from Meta
Import the approved quotation-dispatch and order-confirmation templates from your Meta Business account, including any quick-reply buttons or product-list catalogs.

Open the Sales tab in Discuss
Go to Discuss and select the Sales tab. Pick the WhatsApp contact you are talking to and see every quotation and SO linked to that partner.

Send By WhatsApp
From any quotation or SO, click Send By WhatsApp, pick a template, attach the PDF or any other file, and send. Customer replies and read ticks land back in the same Discuss chat.

Where does the Sales tab appear?
