Overview
WhatsApp Invoice in Discuss connects Odoo Invoicing to Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API, then surfaces every invoice for the current WhatsApp contact inside the Discuss conversation. Accounts-receivable teams stop bouncing between modules to send a copy of an invoice or chase payment.
Built by TechUltra Solutions, the module adds an Invoice tab to the Discuss menu. From that tab finance sees every invoice tied to the contact on the other end of the chat, opens one in place, edits the lines, and forwards the PDF over WhatsApp through a Meta-approved template.
Replies go through dynamic WhatsApp templates with text, media, and interactive content, and delivery and read ticks from Meta — single grey, double grey, double blue — are mirrored into the invoice's Odoo chatter so collections has a complete audit trail.

Template messages can include quick-reply buttons — for example, “Acknowledge” or “Request extension” — so the customer responds without typing.

From install to first call — here is the path.

Install the module
In Odoo, open Apps, remove the Apps filter, search for “WhatsApp Invoice in Discuss”, and click Install. The Odoo Meta WhatsApp Discuss and Odoo WhatsApp Base dependencies are pulled in automatically.

Connect Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API
In WhatsApp → Configuration, enter the WhatsApp Cloud API credentials from your Meta Business account — the phone-number ID and permanent access token — and run the connection test.

Sync invoice templates from Meta
Import the approved invoice-delivery and payment-reminder templates from your Meta Business account, including any quick-reply buttons for acknowledgement or follow-up.

Open the Invoice tab in Discuss
Go to Discuss and select the Invoice tab. Pick the WhatsApp contact you are talking to and see every invoice linked to that partner.

Send By WhatsApp
From any invoice, click Send By WhatsApp, pick the template, attach the invoice PDF or any other file, and send. Delivery and read ticks are written back to the invoice chatter automatically.
