Overview

Selling on Amazon FBA leaves two things hard to see inside your ERP: what stock Amazon actually holds, and what each sale truly earns after Amazon's fees. This module connects Odoo 18 to Amazon's Selling Partner API and reconciles both — inventory and money — with full accounting traceability.

Inventory syncs daily: available, reserved, inbound, and AWD quantities, matched to products by SKU or ASIN, with inbound-shipment tracking and automatic discrepancy detection between expected and received quantities. Every Amazon financial event imports into Odoo Accounting with GL account mapping by event type, monthly FBA storage fees are linked to entries, and multi-currency payouts are reconciled with USD-converted reporting and unrealized gain/loss handling.

On top of the raw sync, the module calculates 7/30/60/90-day sales velocity and days-of-inventory, rolls up quarterly demand forecasts with year-over-year trends, and reports per-product revenue, refunds, and COGS against every Amazon fee category to show true net margin. In Amazon Seller Central's Developer Central, register an application and obtain your Client ID, Client Secret, and Refresh Token.

Create the Amazon backend in Odoo

Add an Amazon Backend record with the API credentials, marketplace and region selection, and default customer, service product, and currency; click Refresh Token to authenticate.

Map products

Set the Reference (SKU) and FNSKU on each product's Amazon ASIN tab, and configure the ASIN/SKU exception list for any non-matching items.

Import and automate

Run the import buttons for product quantities, transactions, shipments, and FBA charges, review the FBA inventory and margin reports, then enable the scheduled sync jobs per region.
