The recording opens in the AI Video Knowledge app, ready to process. There’s no separate desktop tool to install and no video editor to learn — the capture happens where you already work.

What does the AI actually generate?

From that single recording, one action produces four different assets:

• A transcript that details every action step, system response, and dialogue, with real-time progress shown in the chatter log.
• An HTML manual structured into Overview, Steps, and Key Takeaways sections — the kind of doc you’d otherwise spend an afternoon writing.
• Text-to-speech voice notes that narrate the guide in a natural-sounding voice, for video-style training without a recording booth.
• An interactive Odoo web tour — the AI parses your recorded clicks into a working, browser-guided walkthrough you replay with a Play Tour button.

Where does the finished documentation live?

Straight in Odoo Knowledge. Generated manuals — screenshots included — publish as formatted articles in Odoo’s official Knowledge app, so your documentation sits inside the same system as the work it describes. No wiki to keep in sync, no PDF graveyard on a shared drive.

Does it work on Odoo Community?

Yes — and that’s a deliberate design decision. Many AI features in the Odoo world are Enterprise-only. AI Video Knowledge routes its AI through the Fynix AI gateway (installed via a bundled connector), so the same transcripts, manuals, voice notes, and tours work identically on Community and Enterprise.

What does it cost to run?

Two parts, both transparent. The module is a one-time $100 on the Odoo App Store. AI processing is pay-as-you-go — 2 million Fynix tokens for $20 — so you pay for what you generate instead of a fixed monthly subscription. For a team documenting a few dozen processes, that’s a rounding error against the hours saved.
