Party masters (customers and suppliers with GSTIN, PAN and addresses), stock items with HSN codes and units, your ledger structure mapped to Odoo's Indian chart of accounts, and opening balances for bank, cash, receivables, payables and stock. Tally's voucher numbering continues in Odoo, so customers and auditors see no break.

Can we keep using Tally while we move?

Yes. Both systems stay open for a parallel period: new vouchers go into Odoo and Tally becomes read-only. We switch Tally off only after the first GSTR-3B from Odoo reconciles cleanly. The Tally migration playbook explains each step.

Does our CA stay involved?

Yes. Your CA signs off the cutover-day closing balances and the first GST return filed from Odoo, and we schedule both with them.
