Delivered from India HQ (Ahmedabad) — 2.5-hour flight, 1.5-hour time difference — see the hub office

Odoo implementation partner for UAE businesses

TechUltra Solutions delivers Odoo to UAE businesses from our India headquarters. UAE is our second-largest delivery market by project count, with deep expertise in FTA VAT, the post-2023 Corporate Tax regime, Designated Zone treatment, group relief for multi-entity setups, and the upcoming UAE e-invoicing mandate (PINT-AE, phased from July 2026). We work across mainland UAE, all Free Zones, and serve clients in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, and the Northern Emirates.

About TechUltra in United Arab Emirates

UAE is one of TechUltra's strongest delivery markets, served by a senior consultant team trained on UAE-specific compliance (FTA, Corporate Tax, QFZP rules, e-invoicing). The 2.5-hour flight and 1.5-hour time difference from our India HQ make UAE a near-shore market — on-site work is straightforward when needed. We've shipped Odoo deployments across mainland Dubai LLCs, Abu Dhabi free zone entities, JAFZA/DAFZA-based operations, multi-emirate retail chains, and international group subsidiaries with UAE presence. We work bilingually (English and Arabic) and our invoice templates render right-to-left correctly.

Frequently asked questions

  • Do you have an office in UAE?

No physical office — we deliver UAE engagements remotely from our India HQ. UAE is geographically and operationally close (2.5-hour flight, 1.5-hour time difference) so on-site work is straightforward when it adds value. We're present in UAE for major kick-offs, design workshops, and cutover weekends as needed. Most day-to-day work happens via video call and async messaging — efficient and works well for the 2026 distributed-team norm.

  • Can you handle both mainland UAE and Free Zone entities?

Yes — multi-entity UAE groups with both mainland and Free Zone subsidiaries are a core use case. Mainland Dubai LLC + Abu Dhabi LLC + JAFZA Free Zone + DAFZA Free Zone all on one Odoo instance with appropriate VAT and Corporate Tax treatment per entity. Group relief, consolidation, and intercompany flows handled natively.

  • Are you FTA-registered tax agents?

No — we're an Odoo implementation partner, not a tax agent. We partner with FTA-registered tax agents for clients who want representation in dealings with the FTA. For VAT-201 and Corporate Tax return preparation, we generate the data in Odoo; your existing tax agent or accountant submits to the FTA portal. We can introduce FTA-registered partners during scoping if you don't have one.

  • When does UAE e-invoicing become mandatory?

The Ministry of Finance has announced phased rollout starting July 2026 for B2B and B2G transactions. Specific wave criteria (TRN bands, revenue thresholds) are being finalised. We're tracking announcements and pre-configuring Odoo for early wave compliance. See our [/solutions/uae-e-invoicing](/solutions/uae-e-invoicing) page for full details.

  • How does Corporate Tax work for our Free Zone entity?

Free Zone entities meeting the Qualifying Free Zone Person (QFZP) criteria — adequate substance, Qualifying Income, de minimis non-qualifying income limit (≤ 5%) — get 0% CT on their Qualifying Income and 9% on Non-Qualifying. Odoo classifies income at transaction level so the year-end CT calculation is straightforward. Discovery includes a QFZP categorisation review.

  • Do you handle Arabic-language invoices?

Yes — bilingual Arabic + English templates are standard in our UAE configurations. Right-to-left layout for Arabic-primary template. Every FTA-required field (TRN, supply date, supply emirate, tax breakdown) renders correctly in both languages.

  • How do you handle multi-currency for UAE businesses dealing across the GCC?

Native multi-currency. AED primary plus SAR for Saudi operations, USD/EUR for international, GBP, INR. Real-time FX rates configurable from CBUAE feed or other sources. Multi-currency consolidation across UAE + KSA + other Gulf entities works on one Odoo instance.

  • Can you migrate from SAP B1, Tally, Zoho, or QuickBooks?

All of these and more — common UAE migration sources. See our migration playbooks: [/migrate/sap-business-one-to-odoo](/migrate/sap-business-one-to-odoo), [/migrate/tally-to-odoo](/migrate/tally-to-odoo), [/migrate/zoho-to-odoo](/migrate/zoho-to-odoo), [/migrate/quickbooks-to-odoo](/migrate/quickbooks-to-odoo). UAE Sage and Microsoft Dynamics migrations also frequent. Each fixed-price after a paid discovery week.

  • What UAE industries do you have experience in?

Trading (general trading LLCs, distribution), manufacturing (Dubai Industrial City, KIZAD), retail (multi-location with Designated Zone exposure), hospitality and F&B, real estate (master developers and FM operators), professional services, e-commerce. We can match a senior consultant to your specific industry during scoping.

  • Do we sign contracts under UAE law or Indian law?

Either. We can contract under UAE governing law (Dubai or Abu Dhabi jurisdiction) or under Indian law as your procurement prefers. We have NDA templates for both. Most UAE clients prefer UAE jurisdiction; we sign these routinely. Payment terms flexible — typically 50% on signing, 30% at midpoint milestone, 20% on go-live.

  • Can we get an on-site visit before signing?

Yes — we can travel to UAE for a paid discovery visit (1–2 day on-site workshop plus the standard discovery week deliverables). Cost transparent up-front. For larger engagements (over AED 200,000), the on-site visit is often included in discovery week pricing.

  • What's the first step?

A 30-minute call with one of our senior consultants. Bring: legal structure (mainland LLC / Free Zone / Designated Zone), Trade License turnover band, current accounting/ERP, top three operational pains. We'll outline the right next step — usually paid discovery week, or sometimes a sandbox + scoping pair if you're earlier in evaluation.
