Akash Mehta is the Principal Consultant for ERP Strategy at TechUltra Solutions. He runs vendor-evaluation engagements where the deliverable is “you should pick X” — even when X isn’t Odoo.

Before TechUltra, Akash spent six years as an SAP Business One implementation consultant in Mumbai and three years inside an Indian-listed company running a NetSuite migration. The combined experience makes him one of the few consultants who can credibly compare the major mid-market ERPs without defaulting to whatever stack he happens to know.

His writing focuses on the questions CFOs actually ask during vendor selection: what’s the real three-year cost, where do partner-ecosystems matter, when is “switching costs” a marketing line vs. a real factor. Akash holds an MBA from IIM Bangalore and Odoo Functional certification.
